Another challenge

Kirjoittaminen ei ole taas viime päivinä oikein maistunut, joten tähänkin vastaaminen viipyi päivän jos toisenkin. Kiitokset Lottakatariinalle haasteesta :).

I haven't really felt like writing in the past few days and therefore it took quite a while to reply to this one. Thanks to Lottakatariina for the challenge :).

1. Mitä teet ensimmäisenä, kun tulet töistä/koulusta kotiin?

- Useimmiten hoidan ruuanlaiton pois alta ja katselen miesystäväni kanssa jakson tai pari jotakin hyvää sarjaa. Tällä hetkellä pyörii ainakin True Blood, Political Animals, Continuum, Perception, Falling Skies ja seuraamme myös the Colbert Reportia ja the Daily Show with Jon Stewartia.

2.Mikä saa sut onnelliseksi?

- Tämä taitaa olla näistä vaikein kysymys. Taidan olla onnellinen, kun saan tehdä asiat omalla tavallani ja tahdillani. Kun kaikki lähimmäiseni ovat onnellisia eikä ilmassa ole mitään suurempia jännitteitä. Olen tosi vahvasti introvertti ja nautin yksinolosta ja oman kodin rauhasta.

3. Millaiset asiat saa sinut suuttumaan?

- Ihmisten ajattelemattomuus ja piittaamattomuus. Kun asiat tehdään hankalammin ja huonommin kuin olisi mahdollista, niin yhteiskunnassa kuin pienemmässäkin mittakaavassa. Kaikenlainen epäreilu kohtelu.

4. Haluaisitko muuttaa jotakin piirrettä itestäsi?

- Voisin hyötyä hitusesta enemmän sosiaalisuutta. Kaikenkaikkiaan olen kuitenkin aika tyytyväinen itseeni.

5. Pahin painajaisesi?

- Jopa painajaiseni ovat melko tylsiä, lähinnä pientä ärsyyntymistä aiheuttavia. Monesti näen unta olevani noutopöydässä tms. hakemassa ruokaa, mutta vaikka kuinka otan ruokaa, mikään ei pysy lautasellani.  Kaipa niillä unilla on jokin syvällinen merkitys... tai sitten olen vain nälkäinen. Itselleni ei yleensä mitään kauheaa tapahdu, mutta pari kertaa olen nähnyt unta jonkun läheisen kuolemasta. Sellaisia ei kyllä ole kiva edes uneksia.

6. Millaista musiikkia kuuntelet?

Lyhyt vastaus: hyvin vähän. Pidempi vastaus: En yleensä jaksa laittaa mitään tiettyä soimaan, mutta pidän yleensä raskaammasta musiikista. Metallica, Turisas, Nightwish (Tarjan aika & Imaginaerum), Emilie Autumn, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Lykke Li, Youtube-laulaja Katethegreat19. Tietylle tuulelle sattuessani Andy Williams, the Baseballs, Lily Allen ja Jukka-Poika/the Soul Captain Band.

7. Millainen on arkivaatetuksesi?

- En juurikaan tee eroa arki- ja juhlavaatteiden välille. Jokainen päivä ansaitsee hiukan juhlavuutta ja nättejä vaatteita on sääli pitää kaapin perukoilla 99 % ajasta. Käytän korsettia aina kun kaipaan pientä ryhdistämistä tai itsetunnon kohotusta, noin 3-4 päivänä viikossa. Käytän lähes aina hameita ja suosin mustaa, mutten kaihda värejäkään.

8. Mitkä ovat top 3 nettisivustot?

- Top3 eniten käymääni sivustoa ovat varmaan Facebook, wow-kiltani forum ja Blogger. Jos sisällön laadun tai viihdyttävyyden puolesta katsotaan, suosikeikseni voisin mainita TED.comin, thatguywiththeglasses.comin ja Ferry Halimin Orisinalin.

9. Mitä ajattelet Jumalasta?

- Tästä ajattelin vielä kirjoitella lisääkin, mutta lyhyesti sanottuna, en usko, en arvosta.

10. Mitä luulet, että tapahtuu kuoleman jälkeen?

- Ruumis maatuu sikäli kuin se kaiken maailman balsamointiaineita täyteen pumpattuna pystyy maatumaan, tietoisuus sammuu aivotoiminnan mukana.

1. What's the first thing you do when you get home from work/school?

- Usually I just get over with cooking and watch an episode or two of a good series with my boyfriend. At the moment that includes True Blood, Political Animals, Continuum, Perception, Falling Skies, and we also follow the Colbert Report and the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

2. What makes you happy?

- I think this one's the toughest out of these questions. I think I'm happy when I get to do things my own way and at my own pace. When everyone around me is happy and there's no major drama going on. I'm a rather strongly introverted person and I enjoy alone time and the peace and quiet of home.

3. What sort of things make you angry?

- The inconsideration and disregard of people. When things are done in a harder and inferior way to how they could be done, in society and on a smaller scale. All kinds of unfair treatment.

4. Would you like to change some characteristic of yourself?

- I could benefit from being slightly more social. All in all, however, I'm quite happy with who I am.

5. Your worst nightmare?

- Even my nightmares are rather boring, mostly just sources of slight annoyance. I regularly dream of being at a buffet and despite picking food and placing it on my plate, nothing will stay on it. I guess there's some deep meaning to these... or maybe I'm just hungry. I rarely get anything horrible happening to myself, but I've dreamt of the death of someone dear a couple of times. That sort of thing isn't fun even to dream of.

6. What kind of music do you listen to?

- Short answer: very little at all. Longer answer: I usually can't be bothered to put anything in particular on, but I usually prefer metal. Metallica, Turisas, Nightwish (With Tarja & Imaginaerum), Emilie Autumn, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Lykke Li, the Youtube songstress Katethegreat19. 7. What'syour everyday wardrobe like?

- I don't really distuinguish between everyday and formal clothing. Every day deserves to be a little festive and it's a shame to keep pretty clothes tucked in a closet 99 % of the time. I wear a corset whenever I feel I need a bit of posture enhancement or a confidence boost, about 3-4 days a week. I wear skirts almost always and I prefer black, but I don't shy away from colour either.

8. What are the top3 websites?

- My top3 most visited sites are probably Facebook, the forum of my WoW guild and Blogger. If I judge by content quality and how entertaining the sites are, I could choose TED.com, thatguywiththeglasses.com and Ferry Halim's Orisinal.

9. What do you think about God?

- I've been thinking of writing still more on this subject, but to put it short, I don't believe in him, I don't appreciate belief in him.

10. What do you think happens after death?

- The body decomposes, as far as it can when it's pumped full of embalming fluids, the consciousness goes out with brain function.

I don't think I'll challenge anyone this time either.
